Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itse Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Minasian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Itse Perkele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arthur Minasian!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkele closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Minasian misses with a hook
and Perkele counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Minasian tries to move into range but Perkele moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Minasian avoids a kick to the body.
Minasian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Perkele jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Perkele gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Minasian takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Perkele lands a big head kick that sends Minasian tumbling to the mat! Perkele takes a step backwards and waves Minasian back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Arthur Minasian has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perkele swings for the body but Minasian moves out of range.
Minasian catches Perkele with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
and Perkele counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Minasian! He's just covering up as Perkele starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Itse Perkele!
