The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booth throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mcshrads takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Booth throws a sloppy head kick and Mcshrads moves out of range easily.
A jab from Booth misses.
Mcshrads is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Booth with a body shot.
Booth throws a series of punches but Mcshrads moves out of range.
Booth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mcshrads tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Booth throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Booth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcshrads closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mcshrads is pressing down on Booth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Booth is holding on for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcshrads wants to lay and pray for a moment but Booth keeps working.
Mcshrads is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mcshrads wants to pass to mount but Booth is defending the position.
Mcshrads frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Mcshrads lands a couple of good shots and Booth has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Mcshrads working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Booth is trying to break free.
A helpless look comes across Booth 's face. He knows he's trapped as Mcshrads lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
