The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrucci throws a sloppy body shot
and Fest counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Petrucci thinking.

We've been hearing reports that Fest has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Petrucci misses the target.
Petrucci shoots in for a takedown but Fest shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fest's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Petrucci connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fest scrambles back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Petrucci gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fest to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fest makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fest stands up over Petrucci, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Petrucci is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fest is aware though and is defending well.

Fest postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Petrucci covers up, he's hurt! Fest keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Fest and the ref steps in to end the fight! Fest can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
