Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fergus Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pride FC - Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fergus Darrow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darrow throws a lazy uppercut
and Adams counters with a straight right hand.
Darrow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Adams misses with a double jab.
Darrow is looking for a counter combo.
Adams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Darrow.
Adams appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Darrow moves into the clinch.
Adams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Darrow lands an uppercut.
Adams tries to circle away but Darrow has him pinned against the cage.

Darrow has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Adams avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Darrow's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Darrow takes one to the side of the head.
Darrow has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hazzard County Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Darrow shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fergus Darrow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Darrow lets loose with a powerful body kick. Adams will feel that in the morning.
Adams misses with a jab to the body
and Darrow counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Darrow is stalling here.
Darrow tightens his grip and picks Adams up, before dumping him to the ground. Adams manages to land in guard.
Darrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Darrow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Adams knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Darrow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Darrow decides to stand back up.
Darrow keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Adams.
Darrow shoots in for a double leg but Adams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Adams waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Darrow.
Adams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adams wants it to stay on the feet.
Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Darrow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Darrow shoots for a takedown but Adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Darrow is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Adams throws out a loose jab but Darrow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Darrow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Darrow is looking to clinch.
Darrow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adams's waist but Adams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Darrow off to one side.
Darrow clinches up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Adams's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Adams is trying to break the clinch but Darrow has him pressed against the cage.
Darrow's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Darrow manages to break the clinch.

Scott Adams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Darrow tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance.
Darrow drives through and clinches with Adams against the cage.
Darrow is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Adams is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams gets underhooks to prevent Darrow's takedown attempt.
Darrow has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Adams is trying to keep an underhook but Darrow manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Adams is looking for a sweep. Darrow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Darrow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Adams wants to get back to full guard.

Darrow prevents Adams from improving his position.

That was a close round but I would say that Fergus Darrow will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Adams has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Adams lands with a right hand.

Darrow moves forwards but Adams connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Darrow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Darrow has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Adams finds it's way round the side to connect with Darrow's head.
Darrow clinches with his opponent.
Adams can't break the clinch.

Adams wants to stand and escape but instead Darrow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Darrow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Darrow maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Adams could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Darrow has cracked it and Adams is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Darrow!
