Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Kingsten!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingsten darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kingsten just misses with a elbow thrown towards Johnson's brow.
Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kingsten manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kingsten uses from the top position.

Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kingsten walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kingsten prevents it.

Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Kingsten shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kingsten's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kingsten not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kingsten's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kingsten gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kingsten doesn't defend quickly enough and Johnson has managed to lock this one up! Can Kingsten escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Johnson on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Haso Johnson!
