Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hyman Serrano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uriah Hall!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hall lands a nice looking body kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Hall scores with a four punch combination!
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Hyman Serrano has been cut.
Serrano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hall throws a lazy head kick
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Serrano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hall to the mat! Hall manages to get full guard.
Serrano is standing up over Hall. Hall looks to escape but Serrano dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Serrano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hall is trying to get back to half guard.

Serrano works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Serrano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Serrano has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Serrano takes a head kick and keeps coming.
An inside leg kick lands from Hall.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Serrano feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Serrano attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hall looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Hall stuffs the takedown attempt from Serrano. Serrano gets slowly back to his feet.
Uriah Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hall misses with a kick to the body.
Serrano swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Serrano is looking for a counter combo.
Hall lands a leg kick that knocks Serrano off balance momentarily.
Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Serrano moves out of range easily.
Serrano looks for a takedown but Hall sprawls well.
Serrano takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Serrano shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense.

Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Serrano manages to avoid it.
Hall lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Serrano blocks a head kick by Hall.
As Hall backs away, Serrano returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Serrano shoots in but no luck this time.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hall.
Hall cracks Serrano with a right hand to the side of the head.


Serrano is rocked!
Hall throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Serrano crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Uriah Hall!
Our winner, Uriah Hall, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
