The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eugene showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from O Palmeiras.
Eugene throws a leg kick
so O Palmeiras counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
O Palmeiras throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Eugene works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Eugene is sitting in close to O Palmeiras's body. O Palmeiras has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Eugene is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Eugene is tapping! That was a very nice submission by O Palmeiras.
