Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kai Roe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Roe!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown feints and as Roe raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Roe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Roe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Roe is keen to just control but Brown is a slippery customer.
Brown wants to control but Roe is keeping busy.
Roe scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Roe is stalling here. Brown is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Roe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Brown has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Roe tries to bench press Brown off him but Brown keeps the position.

Brown passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Roe!
Brown swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roe is now in Brown's guard. A big mistake from Brown there, giving up the dominant position!
Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Roe wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.
Roe trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom.
Brown wants to sweep here but Roe controlling him for the moment.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Roe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brown tries to lock up and control but Roe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Roe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.

Brown is bucking up trying to escape but Roe cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Brown is squirming around, avoiding Roe's attempts to control the action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Roe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Roe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.
Brown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Roe avoids the attempt from Brown to control.
Brown is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Roe is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Roe is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Roe in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Brown is looking to get to half guard.
Roe lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Brown is desperately trying to improve his position but Roe has a good base and remains in mount.

Roe is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Brown goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Roe!
