These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bourque manages to avoid it.
Moreira looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bourque jabs at Moreira's body.
Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bourque moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Moreira throws a leg kick
letting Bourque counter with a right hand.
Moreira seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bourque lands a body shot.
Bourque scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bourque lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Moreira is rocked!
Moreira shoots for a double leg takedown but Bourque sprawls well. He's pushed Moreira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Moreira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bourque looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Moreira seems to have got his legs back now.
Bourque fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moreira looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bourque lands a big right hand that sends Moreira crashing to the mat! Bourque stays standing though and waves Moreira back to his feet!

It looks like Daniel Moreira has been cut.
Bourque dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Paul Bourque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bourque feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moreiras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bourque has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moreira is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bourque gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bourque wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Moreira is looking to break free of the clinch but Bourque has double underhooks.
Moreira drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bourque pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Moreira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bourque throws an overhand right that has Moreira reeling! Bourque follows up with more punches and Moreira is out cold! This one is all over!
