Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Newbold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ian Behring!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newbold looks to land a left hand but Behring moved out of range nicely.
Newbold throws a body punch but Behring moves out of range.
Behring with the counter takedown but Newbold avoids it easily.

Newbold drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Behring tries to buck Newbold off but Newbold is having none of it.
Newbold lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Behring down.
Newbold wants to lay and pray for a moment but Behring keeps working.
Newbold lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Newbold trying to control the position but Behring is working away.
Behring is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Newbold's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Behring is defending against the submission attempts here by Newbold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Behring is looking to improve his position.

Newbold looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Newbold lands a nice short elbow.

Behring is trying to control but can't.

Newbold is working for a kimura but Behring is defending it quite comfortably.

Newbold tries to pass the half guard into mount. Behring knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Behring looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Newbold lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Newbold seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Newbold wants to control but Behring is keeping him busy.

Behring is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Newbold pulls his head out easily.

Behring has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Newbold. Oh but Behring has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Newbold goes limp - he's gone! Behring jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
