Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stu Prior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karsten Pis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stu Prior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karsten Pis!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Prior does no damage.
Pis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Prior is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Pis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pis looks to land a strike but Prior avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Pis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pis connects with a nice short shot to Prior's temple.

Pis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pis is nestled in close to Prior, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Prior swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Karsten Pis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Pis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Prior's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Stu Prior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pis is stalling here. Prior is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Prior has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Karsten Pis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Prior lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pis down.

I've got Pis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
