Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AC Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Eggman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater avoids the head kick by Eggman.
Slater shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Eggman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Eggman takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Slater lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Eggman down.

Eggman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slater grinds an elbow into Eggman's temple.
Eggman is still in real trouble! Can Slater finish him?
Slater content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slater scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Eggman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Slater can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Our winner, AC Slater, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
