The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford shoots in but no luck this time.
Ford is looking to clinch but Gommers is avoiding it.
Ford misses with a takedown attempt
and Gommers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gommers.
Gommers lands with a light punch inside.
Gommers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Gommers lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gommers lands with a short shot to the head.
Gommers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ford backwards.
Gommers digs a right hand underneath Ford's ribcage. Ford let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gommers lands a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gommers throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fords head.
Ford jumps into guard, dragging Gommers to the mat.
Ford has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Gommers is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Gommers lands a shoulder strike.

Gommers lands a right hand.
Ford's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ford is rocked!
Gommers slowing the pace effectively.

Ford seems to have recovered his senses.

A nice left hand lands by Gommers.
Gommers creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ford with a big uppercut! Ford tries to clinch up but Gommers pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ford to the mat! Ford covers up and Gommers unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
