Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Placencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Amir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Placencia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - The Monster Ft. Rihanna. Amir has chosen I May Fall by Jeff and Casey Lee Williams feat. Lamar Hall as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Placencia shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Placencia showed some decent athleticism there.
Placencia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Amir defends it well.
Amir is doing well to control the position and prevent Placencia from advancing to side control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Placencia lands a nice short elbow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Placencia lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Amir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Placencia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Placencia throws a strike but Amir rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
My spies in WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40 inform me that Amir has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Placencia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Placencia has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Amir should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Placencia has tightened it up now! Amir should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
