Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jak Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Young Doogie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young Doogie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jak Bowers's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jak Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Young Doogie! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowers shoots in for a double leg but Doogie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bowers feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Doogie's calf. Bowers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Doogie as he avoids it easily. Bowers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Doogie is fending him off so far but Bowers persists. Nope, Doogie circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jak Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowers misses with a takedown attempt - Doogie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bowers throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bowers gets caught napping as Doogie dives in and scores a takedown. Bowers manages to retain guard. Bowers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Doogie is one step ahead there. Doogie sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doogie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doogie is in close to Bowers's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bowers controls Doogie momentarily but Doogie frees himself. Doogie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Doogie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bowers has momentary wrist control but Doogie slips an elbow through the middle. Doogie controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Doogie is in close to Bowers's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Doogie's corner is telling him to maintain position. Doogie chips away with some ground and pound. Doogie lands a couple of digs. Doogie lands a couple of elbows.
Bowers is rocked! Bowers working a defensive guard but Doogie manages to pass into side control anyway.
Oh Bowers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bowers taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bowers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Doogie moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Bowers seems to have got his legs back now. Doogie scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bowers to see if he's OK. Bowers takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doogie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bowers is breathing heavily. Doogie is putting a hurting on Bowers here, landing some big shots from side control. Bowers is trying to improve his position. Doogie moves into full mount! Doogie looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Doogie content just to control the position here. Doogie looking to finish Bowers with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bowers! Doogie lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Bowers! Doogie sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Bowers and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Young Doogie!
