Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes to the cage accompanied by rocky road to dublin. Jake Robertson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley slaps away a takedown attempt from Robertson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Robertson tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.

Bradley breaks from the clinch.
Bradley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bradley misses with a two punch combination.
Robertson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Robertson misses with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Joe Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Robertson.
Bradley misses with a takedown attempt - Robertson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Robertson fails with a takedown attempt.
Robertson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Robertson wants it to stay on the feet.
Robertson is looking to clinch.
As Robertson tries to get set, Bradley tries to push him back and clinch up but Robertson manages to avoid the attempt.
Bradley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robertson as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bradley is defended easily by Robertson.
Robertson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Robertson wants to clinch.
Robertson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bradley.

Robertson clinches with his opponent.
Robertson prevents a takedown attempt there.

Robertson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Bradley tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Robertson cracks Bradley with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bradley tries to lock up and control but Robertson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Robertson is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Robertson stuffs the takedown attempt from Bradley. Bradley gets slowly back to his feet.
Bradley is breathing heavily.

Robertson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bradley is trying to break the clinch but Robertson has him pressed against the cage.
Bradley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bradley pulls guard effortlessly.
Robertson won't allow Bradley to sweep him here.
Robertson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Robertson stands up over Bradley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robertson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bradley wants to sweep here but Robertson controlling him for the moment.
Robertson throwing strikes but missing.

Bradley throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Robertson escapes and throws Bradley's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Robertson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Robertson tries to clinch but Bradley moves out of range.

Robertson tries to keep at a distance but Bradley has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bradley jumps into guard, dragging Robertson to the mat.
Robertson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Robertson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Robertson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Jake Robertson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bradley is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradley is not content to let Robertson control the position.
Robertson tries to move to mount but Bradley blocks the move with his legs.
Bradley is looking for a sweep.
Robertson trying to control the position but Bradley is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bradley can't do much from the bottom here.
Robertson has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robertson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bradley has worked his arm free - good work by Bradley!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Robertson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Bradley tries to bench press Robertson off him but Robertson keeps the position.
Bradley can't do much from the bottom here.

Robertson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bradley looks for a takedown but Robertson sprawls well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bradley keeps the fight on the outside.

Robertson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bradley has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Robertson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Robertson tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.

Robertson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Robertson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bradley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robertson on the ground.
Bradley tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Robertson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Robertson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Robertson lands a big elbow.


Bradley is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Robertson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Bradley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robertson tries to avoid it but Bradley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robertson to the ground. Robertson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oh Bradley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Robertson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Robertson picks Bradley up and slams him brutally to the floor. Bradley is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Jake Robertson!
