Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leon Valentine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Dias! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valentine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dias. Dias displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Valentine throws out the jab. And Dias tries to counter it with a takedown but Valentine pushes his down on his head and steps out. Valentine misses with a straight right. Dias changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Valentine definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dias enables Valentine to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dias manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Valentine landing some decent shots from guard. Dias manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Valentine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Valentine fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dias gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Valentine to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias has momentary wrist control but Valentine slips an elbow through the middle. Valentine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dias is keeping the position for now. Valentine distracts Dias with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
It looks like Gabriel Dias has been cut. Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Dias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valentine is looking to work some ground and pound but Dias has wrist control. Valentine is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dias is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dias has escaped and now he's on top!
Valentine is looking for a triangle here but Dias uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valentine gets back to half guard. Valentine moves into full guard.
Valentine isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dias stacks Valentine on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dias!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valentine is looking for a sweep. Valentine manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Valentine tries to roll over but Dias keeps him under control. Valentine wants to control but Dias is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dias prevents Valentine from improving his position. The fighters are battling for position here. Valentine manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Valentine wants to sweep here but Dias controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Valentine is on top in guard.
Valentine chips away with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Dias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valentine controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Valentine dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gabriel Dias's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Valentine closes the distance and clinches. Valentine is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Valentine displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dias up against the cage. Valentine seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valentine slowing the pace effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for Valentine to work.
Valentine has picked Dias up - he's going for a ride! Valentine dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Valentine frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Valentine is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dias has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dias! Dias is fighting to break Valentine's control of his arms but Valentine is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Valentine is trying to control the position but Dias postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valentine throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dias uses it to pass to side control.
Valentine tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dias wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dias working away. Valentine is trying to improve his position. Valentine sneaks back into half guard. Valentine trying to hold on to Dias's head to control him but Dias postures up.
Valentine regains full guard. Nicely done. Dias must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valentine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dias's guard. Dias keeping moving, preventing Valentine from controlling successfully. Valentine is really struggling to control Dias but he's trying to hold on to the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dias keeping full guard, as Valentine tries to pass. Valentine is looking to work some ground and pound but Dias has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dias working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Valentine. Valentine connects with a couple of short punches. Valentine slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Valentine won't allow Dias to get back to his feet. Valentine with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Valentine throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dias works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Valentine advances position into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valentine thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Valentine dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Gabriel Dias's cut. That's time! Valentine's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Valentine. Dias throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Valentine is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dias's half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Valentine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valentine works his way into full mount! Valentine can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dias is looking to escape. Dias is in a horrible position here. Valentine smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Leon Valentine is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Valentine is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dias can do to turn this around? Valentine sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Valentine thowing shots but they're missing. Dias avoids a series of strikes thrown by Valentine.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valentine throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dias has his hands clasped together but Valentine breaks the hold and Dias is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Valentine!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Leon Valentine! Leon Valentine bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
