The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulthard cracks Gyslon with an open hand slap.
Coulthard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gyslon.
Coulthard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gyslon on the side of the head.
Coulthard connects with a looping right hand.
Coulthard lands the left hand.
Coulthard just misses with a punch to the body.
Gyslon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gyslon misses with a double jab.
Coulthard lands a jab.

Gyslon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gyslon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Coulthard gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gyslon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Gyslon is trying to pull guard but Coulthard has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RAbyrt Gyslon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coulthard gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gyslon.

Coulthard has had enough of the clinch but Gyslon keeps him there for the moment.
Coulthard wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gyslon throws a punch but it's blocked by Coulthard.
Gyslon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Coulthard walks away with a smile on his face. Gyslon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Coulthard catches Gyslon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rhys Coulthard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gyslon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coulthard as he jumps to the side.
Coulthard lands a body shot.
Gyslon is breathing heavily.
Coulthard dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gyslon tries to move into range but Coulthard moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Coulthard lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coulthard connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Coulthard scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Coulthard digs a good hook to Gyslon's body.
Coulthard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gyslon doesn't seem bothered though.
Coulthard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gyslon at a distance.
Gyslon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gyslon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Coulthard, as that shot connected.
Coulthard cracks a nice hook into Gyslon's ribs.
Coulthard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Coulthard darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Gyslon is rocked!
Coulthard cracks Gyslon with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gyslon tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Coulthard pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gyslon is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
