Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gallrdo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reese McLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLeod wants to clinch up but Gallrdo keeps it at a distance.
McLeod scores with a hook.
Gallrdo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McLeod misses with a body shot.
A big right from McLeod misses.
Gallrdo scores with a hook to the body. McLeod takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McLeod tries to bum rush Gallrdo with a series of wild strikes but Gallrdo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McLeod throws a hook to the side of Gallrdo's head but Gallrdo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gallrdo looks for a takedown but McLeod sprawls well.

Gallrdo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gallrdo duly obliges.
It looks like Reese McLeod has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gallrdo shoots in looking for a takedown. McLeod tries to sprawl out of it but Gallrdo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McLeod manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Gallrdo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and McLeod counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Gallrdo shoots in but no luck this time.

McLeod throws a combination that misses
and Gallrdo counters with a nice double leg into side control. McLeod won't be happy with that.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gallrdo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McLeod takes the fight into the clinch.
McLeod jumps guard and drags Gallrdo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gallrdo prevents McLeod from getting back to his feet.
Gallrdo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gallrdo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McLeod's guard.
Gallrdo is looking to take a break and control but McLeod is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gallrdo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gallrdo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That was a close second round but I would say that Diego Gallrdo will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

McLeod cracks Gallrdo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Gallrdo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gallrdo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McLeod swivels and escapes.

Diego Gallrdo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gallrdo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McLeod's waist but McLeod gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gallrdo off to one side.
Reese McLeod has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
