Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor Ruttenum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Poorly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruttenum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Game - El Chapo. Conor Ruttenum has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Ruttenum ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drew Poorly! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poorly misses with a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Poorly. No joy for Ruttenum on that attempt. Ruttenum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Poorly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ruttenum somewhat. Ruttenum fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Ruttenum . That's going to take a lot out of him. Poorly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ruttenum under the eye. Poorly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Conor Ruttenum has been cut. Ruttenum shoots in for a double leg but Poorly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruttenum closes the distance and clinches up with Poorly, looking for a takedown. Ruttenum pushes Poorly against the cage but Poorly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Poorly.
Ruttenum drives through with a takedown into Poorly's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Poorly managing to control the position. Ruttenum won't allow Poorly to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruttenum throws a strike but Poorly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ruttenum is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ruttenum is breathing heavily. Ruttenum keeping moving, preventing Poorly from controlling successfully. Poorly controlling from the top position. Poorly trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruttenum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Poorly is stalling in the full guard. Ruttenum seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Ruttenum looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Poorly won't allow Ruttenum to sweep him here.

Poorly trying to control from half guard but Ruttenum is working away. Still in half guard, Poorly seems content to control. Poorly looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Well, if Poorly is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ruttenum walks into a jab. Poorly throws a one two combo.
Conor Ruttenum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poorly feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruttenum s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Drew Poorly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Poorly plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ruttenum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Poorly's guard. Ruttenum wants to control from the top but Poorly keeps moving. Ruttenum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Poorly looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ruttenum is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Poorly is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Poorly has escaped and now he's on top! Poorly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruttenum is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drew Poorly dominated that round. The cut man is working on Conor Ruttenum 's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ruttenum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poorly as he jumps to the side. Ruttenum is trying hard to land a takedown here. Poorly sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Poorly let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Ruttenum misses with a takedown and Poorly counters with a thumping low kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Ruttenum . That's going to take a lot out of him. Poorly moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Poorly dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Poorly scores with a hook. Poorly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Poorly cracks Ruttenum with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Poorly has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ruttenum to stand back up!
Ruttenum is rocked!
Conor Ruttenum 's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Poorly seems to be stalking Ruttenum here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Ruttenum drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Drew Poorly! After winning the bout, Drew Poorly thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Conor Ruttenum spoke after the fight, saying 'He caught me, what can I say? good shit.'.
