Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rascal Donkashane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Palazzolo! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donkashane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Palazzolo keeping full guard, as Donkashane tries to pass. Donkashane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Donkashane stands and throws Palazzolo's legs to the side, diving into side control. Donkashane throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Palazzolo works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Donkashane is keen to just control but Palazzolo is a slippery customer. Donkashane is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donkashane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Donkashane seems to be working for a kimura but Palazzolo defends the submission attempt. Donkashane is trying to work for a kimura but Palazzolo is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Palazzolo is trying to control but can't.
Donkashane lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Donkashane is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Palazzolo sees it coming and defends easily. Donkashane is looking for a kimura but Palazzolo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Donkashane to get the leverage. Donkashane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Donkashane is working for a submission of some sort.
Donkashane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Donkashane seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Palazzolo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
