Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Straight Out of Line. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lyoto Machida was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons scores with a nice right hand.
Simmons fails to land with a series of punches.
Simmons throws out a loose jab but Machida uses good head movement to avoid it.
Simmons uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Machida.
Simmons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Machida was well out of range. Poor timing from Simmons.
Simmons moves out of range of the body kick.
Machida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Machida avoids a punch combination nicely.
Simmons avoids the head kick by Machida.
Simmons thows a body shot but no joy.
Machida scores with a punch to the head.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Machida and Simmons goes tumbling to the canvas! Machida follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
