The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AbdUllah just misses with a punch to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Flynn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
AbdUllah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Flynn circles away quickly and effectively.

Flynn fails with the takedown
and AbdUllah counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Flynn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
AbdUllah is looking for a sweep. Flynn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Flynn is looking for a kimura but AbdUllah is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Flynn to get the leverage.
