7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Teller! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teller scores with a nice right hand.
Teller throws out a loose jab but Pereira uses good head movement to avoid it. Pereira blocks a head kick by Teller.
Teller misses with a right hand so Pereira counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Teller is looking to stand back up but Pereira counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Teller.
Pereira wants to work for an arm triangle but Teller is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Teller is trying to control but can't.
Teller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pereira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pereira is keen to just control but Teller is a slippery customer. Teller is looking to escape. Pereira is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Teller has managed to free his arm - good work. Pereira seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pereira takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pereira is looking for a kimura but Teller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pereira to get the leverage. Teller is looking to improve his position.
Pereira passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Teller! Pereira is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Teller is surviving well by controlling Pereira's body position as best he can. Teller is looking to improve his position but Pereira isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pereira trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pereira is really struggling to control Teller but he's trying to hold on to the position. Pereira manages to capitalize on a mistake by Teller to take his back! Pereira looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Teller taps!

After the fight, Marcus Pereira was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
