Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Delmar Michael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greg Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson has Michael up against the cage in a clinch.
Michael will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Anderson up against the cage.
Anderson fails to pull guard.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Anderson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Michael is trying to break the clinch but Anderson is controlling him.

Anderson decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Michael lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Michael gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Anderson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Michael doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Michael manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Michael could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Anderson pulls Michael in to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderson, not yet.
Michael is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control.
Michael working some strikes from top position.
Michael throwing strikes but missing.
Michael distracts Anderson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Anderson striking off his back but it's not causing Michael any problems.
Michael is in close to Anderson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Michael throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Michael is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Michael slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
Michael looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Michael seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Anderson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Delmar Michael!
