Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen 2pac - hit em up as his entrance music. Anthony Ventura could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Li's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li looks to score with a jab to the body but Ventura is just out of range.
Li dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ventura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li.

Li rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ventura counters with a stiff right hand.
Li takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Li tries to keep at a distance but Ventura has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ventura takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Anthony Ventura overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ventura looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Li with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ventura winds up and cracks Li with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ventura is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Li is hurt! He's hurt bad - Ventura fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Li from any more punishment! Congratulations to Ventura! Great finish!
