Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, BillyBob Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Jackson Jr! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson Jr throws a head kick but Jim moves out of range.
Jim jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Jackson Jr lands with a kick to the temple. Jim shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Jackson Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jim was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson Jr. Jim moves to clinch but Jackson Jr breaks away and Jackson Jr counters with a three punch combo that has Jim backing up. Jim nods at Jackson Jr to acknowledge the strikes. Jim is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jackson Jr's half guard. Jackson Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jackson Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jim is working away from the top position though. Jackson Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jim in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson Jr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jackson Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jim pulls his head out easily. Jim is controlling the pace.

Jackson Jr works his way to full guard. Good work. Jim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jim trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson Jr looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jim passes into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson Jr is trying to maintain the position but Jim is very close to passing his half guard. Jackson Jr misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jackson Jr wants to control but Jim is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jackson Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jim wants to control but Jackson Jr is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson Jr regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jim stays in close to Jackson Jr's body and controls the position. Jackson Jr working a defensive guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jackson Jr is looking to slow Jim down with leg kicks. Jackson Jr keeps the fight on the outside. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jim gets the takedown into side control. Jim cracks Jackson Jr with a big elbow. Jim wants to control but Jackson Jr is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that BillyBob Jim will probably get the nod. That's time! Jim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jackson Jr throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jim is in Jackson Jr's guard. Jackson Jr trying to control the position.
Jackson Jr is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jim frees his head nicely. Oh but Jackson Jr has switched to an armbar! Jim is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
