Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bunny Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer comes to the cage accompanied by Centuries. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Archer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
51 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bunny Anstey! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Archer. Those never looked like landing. Archer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Anstey wants to clinch. Aaron Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anstey tries to clinch up but Archer circles away and keeps his distance. Archer slips under a jab. Archer swats away the attempt to clinch by Anstey. Archer misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anstey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Archer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Anstey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Archer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Archer appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Archer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anstey swivels and escapes. Anstey looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Archer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A little jabbing left from Anstey on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Anstey checks a leg kick. Despite the aggression on Anstey's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Archer scores with a nice right hand.

Anstey wants to clinch and Archer counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Anstey blocks a low kick nicely. Archer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Archer goes for a double leg but Anstey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Anstey continues to drive forward. Anstey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Archer. Archer takes one on the button. Anstey tries to clinch up letting Archer counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Archer here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Archer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anstey sprawls well. Anstey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Archer gets slowly back to his feet. Anstey doesn't manage to clinch there - Archer circles away.

Archer misses with a wild body shot. Anstey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Archer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Anstey walks into a stiff left hand from Archer.

Anstey controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Anstey wants to get back to his feet.

Archer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anstey tries to avoid it but Archer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anstey to the ground. Anstey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Archer has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Archer - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Archer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Anstey's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Archer blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Archer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anstey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Archer will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Anstey up against the cage. Archer cracks Anstey with a nice body shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Archer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Archer is looking to work some ground and pound but Anstey has wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Archer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Archer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
