Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between John Smiths and Mi Guel. On his way into the cage it seems that John Smiths has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Smiths seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; John Smiths! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Mi Guel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Smiths gets a clinch. Smiths successfully pulls guard.
Guel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guel won't allow Smiths to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Smiths can't keep his opponent in guard - Guel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Smiths tries to roll over but Guel keeps him under control. Guel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Smiths defend it? Guel steps over the head and cranks it - Smiths is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Guel!
