Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kenyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Darnelczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenyon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Illinois Enema Bandit. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Kenyon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Daniel Darnelczyk! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenyon moves in looking to clinch but Darnelczyk pushes him off. Kenyon on the wrong end of a nice jab. A swing and a miss from Darnelczyk. Darnelczyk tries to clinch up. Kenyon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Darnelczyk darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kenyon wants to control but Darnelczyk is keeping busy.
Darnelczyk is keen to just control but Kenyon is a slippery customer. Kenyon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kenyon is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kenyon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Darnelczyk works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Darnelczyk controls Kenyon momentarily but Kenyon frees himself. Kenyon content to control rather than advance. Darnelczyk tries to get to full guard but Kenyon has control of the leg. Kenyon is looking for a kimura but Darnelczyk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kenyon to get the leverage. Kenyon blocks the strikes from Darnelczyk.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kenyon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kenyon content to control rather than advance. Kenyon is thwarting Darnelczyk's attempts to control the position. Kenyon controlling the action here. Darnelczyk keeping control of the position. Michael Kenyon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Darnelczyk tries to roll over but Kenyon keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Kenyon showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kenyon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
