Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonathan Sparks!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Green throws out the jab.
Sparks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Green.
Sparks scores with a one two! Green had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Reggie Green has been cut.
Good shot there by Sparks.
Green throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Green doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sparks digs a good body shot into Green's ribs.
Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Green swinging wilding here.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A jab lands there for Sparks.
Sparks throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Green tumbling to the canvas!

Sparks passes Green's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oh Green is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sparks in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Green tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sparks!
