Erschov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Holm is looking for a triangle here but Erschov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Erschov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Holm doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Erschov. Erschov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holm has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Erschov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Holm sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erschov wants to take a breather but Holm is having none of it. Holm is looking to improve his position.

Holm looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Erschov pushes past his half guard into mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Holm (0) vs (6) Erschov Holm can't escape the position.
Erschov trying to control but Holm is having none of it. Erschov is working for a guillotine from mount but Holm frees his head quite easily.

Erschov quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Erschov but it's paid off an Holm is forced to tap! Nice work by Erschov.
