Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boris Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjan Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Em has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Boris Em has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Em! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arjan Kush! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kush closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kush lands in his opponent's guard. Em is breathing heavily. Kush with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kush content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kush chips away with some ground and pound. Kush pushes down on Em's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kush takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kush is working for a kimura but Em is defending it quite comfortably.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kush connects with a nice short shot to Em's temple. That's one minute gone in the round. Kush is trying to control the action in half guard but Em is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kush lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kush looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Em is rocked! Kush is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Em! Oh Em is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Em is in a horrible position here. Kush smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kush is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Em is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Em flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kush anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Em and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kush slips an arm under Em chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kush has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kush is squeezing on Em like an anaconda would it's prey. Em fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Arjan Kush!
