Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Dalmazo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newton has chosen Destiny's Child - Bootylicious as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlos Newton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton tries to clinch up but Dalmazo circles away and keeps his distance.

and Dalmazo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Newton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dalmazo defends it nicely.

Newton tightens his grip and picks Dalmazo up, before dumping him to the ground. Dalmazo manages to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dalmazo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Newton on the ground.

Dalmazo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Newton controls the pace.

Dalmazo pulls Newton in close to his closed guard and prevents Newton from doing any damage or advancing position.
Newton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dalmazo looking for a sweep but Newton has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Newton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dalmazo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Newton is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dalmazo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dalmazo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Newton anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dalmazo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Newton slips an arm under Dalmazo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Newton has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Newton is squeezing on Dalmazo like an anaconda would it's prey. Dalmazo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
