Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drake Foryeski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Aokison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drake Foryeski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Aokison! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aokison shoots in but Foryeski avoids the takedown attempt easily. Aokison misses with a left hand and Foryeski counters with a takedown into side control. Foryeski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aokison, who protects the arm well. Aokison tries to improve position but can't. Foryeski is looking to take a break and control but Aokison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Foryeski is putting a hurting on Aokison here, landing some big shots from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Foryeski tries for a kimura but Aokison is defending well. Foryeski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foryeski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aokison, who protects the arm well. Aokison is looking for a sweep. Foryeski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aokison keeps working. Aokison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Foryeski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Foryeski tries for a kimura but Aokison is defending well. Foryeski working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Aokison is trying to control Foryeski's posture but Foryeski avoids it. Foryeski looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Aokison is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Foryeski off and has taken his back! Foryeski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Foryeski is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Aokison is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Foryeski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Foryeski for a finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foryeski wants to escape the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Foryeski pushes down on Aokison's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Foryeski keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aokison's head. Foryeski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Aokison looking for a guillotine here but Foryeski defends easily.
Aokison has momentary wrist control but Foryeski slips an elbow through the middle. Foryeski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aokison is keeping the position for now. Foryeski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Aokison's guard. Foryeski is nestled in close to Aokison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Aokison is refusing to be controlled, as Foryeski sits in half guard. Aokison is trying to control but can't.
Aokison is not content to let Foryeski control the position. Foryeski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Foryeski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Aokison. No joy for Foryeski on that attempt. Foryeski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aokison paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aokison flicks out a counter leg kick but Foryeski steps away. Foryeski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aokison but Aokison pushes him off and we're back to square one. Foryeski avoids a kick to the body.

Foryeski is pressing down on Aokison's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Foryeski holds on and takes a little breather. Aokison throwing strikes but missing. Foryeski is adopting a defensive guard. Drake Foryeski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Foryeski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Further stalling from Foryeski. Aokison loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Aokison throwing strikes but missing. Aokison throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Aokison looking to pass the guard. Foryeski pulls Aokison in close to prevent any damage. Aokison wants to pass the guard but Foryeski is keeping the position. Aokison must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aokison fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Foryeski checks it well. Aokison misses with a looping right. Aokison throws a big shot that misses. Foryeski changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Aokison closes the distance and clinches. Foryeski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Aokison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foryeski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Foryeski seems keen to control Aokison's posture. Aokison throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aokison is fighting to break Foryeski's control of his arms but Foryeski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Foryeski continues to stall. Aokison postures up.

Ken Aokison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Foryeski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
