1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oscar Mulholland! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggins throws a combination. Mulholland tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Mulholland scores with a kick to the body.
Baggins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Baggins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Baggins just content to control the position. Mulholland tries to buck Baggins off but Baggins is having none of it. Mulholland struggling a bit here. Mulholland is looking for a sweep. That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baggins is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Baggins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mulholland tries to get to full guard but Baggins has control of the leg.

Mulholland is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Baggins passes to full mount! Baggins controlling the pace for now. Baggins is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mulholland has managed to escape the submission attempt.

A big right from Mulholland misses. Baggins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mulholland tries to roll over but Baggins keeps him under control. Baggins is trying to work for a kimura but Mulholland is defending well.

He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Baggins moves into full mount! Mulholland won't be happy about that! Mulholland wants to hold on but Baggins pushes him away. That's two minutes gone in the round. Mulholland tries to lock up and control but Baggins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Baggins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
