Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Chinchilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chinchilla comes to the cage accompanied by Throw It In the Bag. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Chinchilla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Burns! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns rushes Chinchilla and presses him up against the cage. Burns drags the fight down to the ground.
Chinchilla trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burns looking to control but Chinchilla passes into half guard.
Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chinchilla knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground. Burns looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Burns is looking for a sweep. Chinchilla is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chinchilla content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Chinchilla is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice shot by Chinchilla. Burns takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chinchilla is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Chinchilla keeps the fight on the outside. Burns shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Chinchilla tries to hold on but Burns postures up. Burns goes for an armbar but Chinchilla turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Chinchilla. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burns looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Burns looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chinchilla manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chinchilla looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chinchilla looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chinchilla! Chinchilla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burns keeps working. Chinchilla has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chinchilla misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chinchilla misses with a two punch combination.
Burns throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Burns tries to clinch there but Chinchilla circles away.
Chinchilla just misses with a punch to the body.
Chinchilla throws a head kick that misses. Chinchilla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinchilla misses with a double jab
and Burns counters by clinching up. Chinchilla breaks from the clinch.
Burns gets in close and instigates a clinch. Burns throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chinchilla blocks it with crossed arms. Burns landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Burns pulls guard effortlessly. Burns wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Burns wants to control but Chinchilla passes easily into half guard.
Chinchilla looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Chinchilla pulls his head out easily. Chinchilla wants to take a breather but Burns is having none of it. Burns wants to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chinchilla throws a left and a right that both miss
and Burns counters with a left and a right that stings Chinchilla. Burns has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Burns fails with the takedown. Chinchilla gets a clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burns scores a nice knee to the body.
Chinchilla breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Chinchilla will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chinchilla walks into a straight right hand from Burns. Burns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chinchilla looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Burns tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Burns has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Burns advances to full mount. Chinchilla avoids a strike by Burns and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Burns's guard! Fantastic escape!
Burns had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chinchilla is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Burns Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chinchilla's back instead. Chinchilla trying to control the hands but Burns breaks the grip. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinchilla is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Burns doesn't have the hooks in and Chinchilla manages to turn into his guard.
Burns looking for a guillotine here but Chinchilla defends easily.
Burns has an active guard here but Chinchilla has managed to pass into half guard.
Burns wants to get back to full guard but Chinchilla has passed into side control. Chinchilla controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns can't escape the position.
Chinchilla avoids the attempt from Burns to control. Burns working to try and regain half guard.
Chinchilla takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns is squirming around, avoiding Chinchilla's attempts to control the action. Chinchilla prevents Burns from getting the reversal. Chinchilla can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burns is looking to escape. Burns is trying desperately to improve position. Burns is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chinchilla tries to control but Burns wriggling away. Burns is in all sorts of trouble here.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burns wants to hold on but Chinchilla pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darren Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Chinchilla misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns shoots in and bounces Chinchilla off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chinchilla swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns postures up and lands a big shot to Chinchilla's brow. Burns with a flurry of punches that miss. Chinchilla wants to stand up but Burns is controlling him. Burns has gone for a leg lock! Chinchilla slips out almost immediately though and dives into Burns's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Chinchilla wants to stand but Burns has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns has his feet on Chinchilla's thighs here. He's pushed Chinchilla off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Chinchilla screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
