Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Judo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Doom. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack Judo!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Judo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Judo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Alvarez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Judo's knee momentarily.
Alvarez needs to keep his hands up - Judo had a free shot at his head there.
Judo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Judo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Judo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alvarez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Alvarez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Judo has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Alvarez will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michael Alvarez.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alvarez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
