The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forcover throws an off balance right hand
and Skayias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A solid leg kick lands there for Skayias.

Forcover tries to clinch there but Skayias circles away.
Forcover tries to keep at a distance but Skayias has taken the fight into the clinch.
Skayias lands with a right to the head.
Forcover goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Skayias takes an elbow to the forehead.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Forcover just misses with a elbow thrown towards Skayias's brow.
Forcover lands a hook that snaps the head of Skayias backwards.
Skayias blocks the elbow strike.
Skayias breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Skayias bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Forcover circles away from the clinch attempt.
Run Forcover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forcover missing with a left hand there. Skayias was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Skayias feints with a jab and clips Forcover right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Forcover is sent crashing into the canvas and Skayias leaps in for the kill! Forcover tries to get to his feet but Skayias is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Forcover is in need of a savior and steps in!
