Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wictor Johanessburgson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silvio Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wictor Johanessburgson! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johanessburgson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Romero moves into range and clinches up with Johanessburgson. Johanessburgson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Romero after a bit of a struggle. Johanessburgson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Romero pulls his leg out and moves away.
Silvio Romero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wictor Johanessburgson. Romero scores with a push kick. Johanessburgson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Romero goes for a double leg but Johanessburgson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Johanessburgson continues to drive forward. A nice leg kick lands there from Romero. Romero shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johanessburgson defends it nicely. A little jabbing left from Johanessburgson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johanessburgson tries to keep at a distance but Romero has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Johanessburgson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Romero gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Romero lands a knee to the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Romero obliges. Romero lands a shoulder strike. Johanessburgson tries to score a body lock takedown but Romero shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Romero is defending well against a takedown attempt. Romero stalling in the clinch.
Romero gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Romero lands on the inside with an uppercut. A nice left hand lands by Romero.
Johanessburgson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Romero is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Johanessburgson is looking for a takedown. Johanessburgson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Johanessburgson looks winded! Romero presses Johanessburgson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Romero breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Romero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johanessburgson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Romero connects with a single shot there. Sloppy strikes from Johanessburgson. Those never looked like landing. Johanessburgson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Romero moves into the clinch successfully.
Johanessburgson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Romero after a bit of a struggle. Johanessburgson blocks a body shot from Romero. Johanessburgson is trying to drag Romero to the mat but Romero just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Romero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Romero scores with a head kick.
Johanessburgson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice body punch from Romero. Johanessburgson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Romero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romero is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johanessburgson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Johanessburgson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Romero, who protects the arm well. Johanessburgson tries to advance to mount but Romero denies him. Johanessburgson is working to tighten his grip on Romero's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Romero has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Johanessburgson is really squeezing tight and eventually Romero passes out! Johanessburgson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
