The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bones Junior defends well and Newton ends up having to push Bones Junior into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bones Junior appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Newton has managed to clinch.
Bones Junior lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bones Junior presses Newton against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Newton is looking for a takedown.

Newton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bones Junior avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bones Junior is pressed up against the cage. Newton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bones Junior down to the mat. Bones Junior avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It looks like Carlos Newton has been cut.
Newton is aggressively charging in as Bones Junior backs up avoiding any damage. Bones Junior tosses out a jab and Newton runs right into it face first! Newton is out cold! Bones Junior dropped down on all fours and is barking in Newton's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
