Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyle Long! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Walter White Iv! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long misses with an uppercut. White Iv saw that one coming. White Iv throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Long takes one to the side of the head.
Long fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White Iv, pushing him back against the cage. White Iv is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. White Iv is looking to break free of the clinch but Long has double underhooks. White Iv is trying to break the clinch but Long is controlling him. White Iv tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Long lands with a right to the head. Long lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of White Iv backwards. White Iv is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Long scores with a nice short uppercut. Still in the clinch, Long scores with a nice short uppercut. White Iv tries to break free but Long pushes him back against the cage. Long with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. White Iv wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
White Iv is trying to break the clinch but Long has him pressed against the cage. Long lands an elbow inside that White Iv shrugs off.
It looks like Walter White Iv has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Long keeps control of White Iv as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A short right from Long on the inside. White Iv wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long looking to throw knees to the head but White Iv is blocking nicely.
White Iv wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Long lands a right hand that snaps the head of White Iv backwards. A short right hand to the side of the head by Long. Long landing some nice looking knees to the body.
White Iv looks winded! Long lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Long has White Iv pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. White Iv is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Long - that's hurt White Iv badly! Oh, another knee lands and White Iv is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but White Iv doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Kyle Long! Our winner, Kyle Long, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
