Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuggets misses with a few strikes there.
Nuggets misses with a straight right.
As Nuggets tries to get set, Hudson tries to push him back and clinch up but Nuggets manages to avoid the attempt.
Nuggets gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Hudson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nuggets's guard.
Nuggets uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Nuggets drives through and clinches with Hudson against the cage.
Nuggets has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hudson is trying to keep an underhook but Nuggets manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nuggets is thwarting Hudson's attempts to control the position.
Nuggets is looking for a kimura but Hudson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nuggets to get the leverage.

Hudson has hold of Nuggets's hands but Nuggets slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Nuggets lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hudson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nuggets perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hudson is trying to stand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nuggets takes a swing at Hudson's ribcage but misses.
Nuggets throws a series of punches but Hudson moves out of range.
Nuggets scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Nuggets tries for a kimura but Hudson is defending well.
Nuggets advances nicely into full mount.

Nuggets avoids the attempt from Hudson to control.
Nuggets sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Nuggets looking to secure an arm triangle but Hudson defends it well.
Nuggets has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MC Nuggets dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nuggets moves into the clinch successfully.
Hudson misses with a body punch.
Hudson blocks a body shot from Nuggets.
Nuggets breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nuggets shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hudson's guard.
Hudson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nuggets throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hudson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nuggets wants to stand and escape but instead Hudson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hudson stands and steps away. Nuggets gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Nuggets throws a series of punches but Hudson avoids them all with ease.

Nuggets lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hudson backs up against the cage.
It looks like Chris Hudson has been cut.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Nuggets! Hudson is out on his feet! Nuggets rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hudson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hudson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). MC Nuggets!
