Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Oneill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oneill has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music. Mickey Oneill is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Daley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Oneill! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oneill throws a shot from downtown. Daley moves away and avoids it. Oneill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Daley fails with a takedown attempt. Daley is looking to clinch. Daley scores with a sloppy right hand. Oneill should have avoided that one.
It looks like Mickey Oneill has been cut. Daley misses with a takedown attempt - Oneill sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Oneill blocks a head kick by Daley.
Daley throws a combination that misses and Oneill counters with a stiff right hand. Daley throws a combination that misses enabling Oneill to counter with a crisp jab. Oneill shrugs it off though.

Oneill tries to avoid it but Daley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oneill to the ground. Oneill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Daley connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Daley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oneill pinned against the cage. Oneill gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Daley tries to clinch up but Oneill circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daley misses with a straight left. Daley misses the jab. Daley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Oneill counters with a straight right hand. Daley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Oneill counters with a straight right hand. Oneill lands a really nice looking cross but Daley seems unphased.
Daley looks to land a combination but Oneill avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Daley tries for a takedown but Oneill circles away easily and Oneill counters with a left and a right that stings Daley. Oneill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Daley looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Oneill is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Daley is controlling him. Daley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Oneill walks into a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daley tries for a takedown but Oneill circles away easily and Oneill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oneill scores with a sloppy right hand. Daley should have avoided that one. Oneill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Daley counters with a big head kick but Oneill shrugs it off. Daley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Oneill paws at him with a jab and circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oneill takes one on the button. Daley connects with the punch. Oneill throws a right and a left that both miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Daley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mickey Oneill's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Daley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oneill has time to react. Paul Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oneill slips a jab from Daley. Daley fails in his attempt to clinch. Daley throws a nice looking combination but Oneill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Daley throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Oneill. Daley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Daley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oneill is fending him off so far but Daley persists. Nope, Oneill circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Daley avoids a punch combination nicely.

Oneill steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Daley. Oneill throws a series of punches but Daley avoids them all with ease. Oneill displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Daley throws out the jab. Nice takedown defense from Oneill. No joy for Daley on that attempt. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Daley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Oneill blocks a head kick by Daley.

Oneill moves out of range of the strikes. Oneill takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Daley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Oneill.
Oneill might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Daley tries to clinch up but Oneill circles away and keeps his distance. Daley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck for Daley with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Oneill throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Daley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Daley misses with a shot to the body and Oneill counters with a straight right hand. Paul Daley is winning the standup battle so far. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Daley. Daley with a poor takedown and Oneill cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Daley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Daley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oneill stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Daley with a poor takedown and Oneill counters with a series of strikes. Daley will be more careful next time no doubt. Oneill moves out of range as Daley strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Mickey Oneill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Oneill has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
