Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Carlos Tevez and Russell Paulman. Paulman has chosen War is my Love as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Carlos Tevez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Russell Paulman! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Tevez stuffs the takedown. Tevez slaps away a takedown attempt from Paulman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Paulman closes the distance and clinches up with Tevez, looking for a takedown. Paulman pushes Tevez against the cage but Tevez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've been hearing reports that Tevez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Carlos Tevez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Russell Paulman. Paulman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tevez but Tevez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
