DragonHeart has chosen Heart of Courage as his entrance music. Petr Smirnov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arthur DragonHeart's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DragonHeart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smirnov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Smirnov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
You can see the frustration on Smirnov's face as DragonHeart controls the position.
DragonHeart wants to stand but Smirnov has his arm trapped.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Smirnov holds on to DragonHeart's head and controls the position momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smirnov parries the strikes from DragonHeart easily there. DragonHeart is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Smirnov to escape.
The referee asks DragonHeart politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. DragonHeart prefers to stall for the moment though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
DragonHeart feints and as Smirnov raises his hands in defense, DragonHeart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like DragonHeart might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DragonHeart is continuing to stall.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
DragonHeart wants to stand but Smirnov is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
DragonHeart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
DragonHeart slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that DragonHeart has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

DragonHeart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smirnov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

DragonHeart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

DragonHeart throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smirnov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. DragonHeart is in Smirnov's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smirnov gets caught napping as DragonHeart dives in and scores a takedown. Smirnov manages to retain guard.

Smirnov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
DragonHeart has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well DragonHeart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
