Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Armas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manhoef's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Melvin Manhoef feat.Lange Frans. Armas has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Melvin Manhoef has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Melvin Manhoef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Armas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manhoef doesn't manage to clinch there - Armas circles away.
Armas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Manhoef's waist but Manhoef gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Armas off to one side.
Armas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Manhoef, pushing him back against the ropes.
Armas gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Manhoef regains guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Manhoef keeping moving, preventing Armas from controlling successfully.
Armas is pushing down on Manhoef's leg trying to pass to half guard. Manhoef is fighting to maintain full guard but Armas has managed to sneak the leg through.
Manhoef keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Manhoef looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Armas prevents Manhoef from standing back up.
Manhoef is pressing down on Armas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Manhoef had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Armas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Manhoef Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Armas's back instead.
Armas turns into Manhoef and is now in his guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Armas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Manhoef trying to strike off his back.
Armas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Armas trying to control the position from guard on top but Manhoef is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Armas won't allow Manhoef to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Armas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Armas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Manhoef!
Armas has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Manhoef's face.
Armas trying to control but Manhoef is having none of it.

Armas looking to secure an arm triangle but Manhoef defends it well.
Armas looks gassed!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Manhoef tries to control the position but Armas now has his back.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Armas's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Manhoef could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Manhoef trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Armas has the hooks in. Manhoef is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Armas throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Manhoef!
Manhoef trying to control but not successfully.
Armas working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Manhoef is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Armas has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Manhoef taps out!
