Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between David Brent and Ben Henley. Brent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is David Brent - 'Life on the Road'. David Brent had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; David Brent! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Ben Henley! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Brent forces Henley back against the cage and clinches. Brent tries for a takedown but Henley manages to get underhooks.
Henley gets control of Brent's arms and successfully pulls guard. Henley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Brent trying to control but Henley is working from the bottom. Henley wants to sweep here but Brent controlling him for the moment. Brent trying to control the position from guard on top but Henley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brent is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Henley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henley being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henley has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brent should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Henley has tightened it up now! Brent should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
