Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Darren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Boys Are Back by Dropkick Murphys. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darren works over Thompson's head and body with a nice combination.
Darren lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Darren.
Darren swings for the body but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Thompson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Darren scores with a head kick.

Thompson clinches up against the cage.
Darren working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Darren lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Chris Thompson has been cut.
Darren keeps control of Thompson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Thompson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Darren lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Thompson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Darren lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Thompson to his knees! Darren keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
