Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbie Lawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Inamo! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Watson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Inamo.
Inamo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lawler is looking for a counter combo. Lawler fails in his attempt to clinch. Lawler has Inamo up against the cage in a clinch.

Inamo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawler tries to avoid it but Inamo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawler to the ground. Lawler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Inamo shoots in looking for a takedown but Lawler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Inamo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Inamo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lawler creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawler is working for takedown but Inamo is calmly controlling the position for now. Lawler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Inamo smiles and moves away.
Lawler tries to clinch up. Lawler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lawler wants it to stay on the feet. Inamo fails to land with a series of punches.

Lawler tries to clinch up but Inamo circles away and keeps his distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lawler has taken the fight to the clinch.

Inamo throws a big elbow that misses. Inamo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Inamo wants to pass the guard but Lawler is keeping the position. Inamo passes into half guard. Inamo wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Inamo controlling the action here. Inamo wants to stand up but Lawler is controlling the position.
Lawler is looking for a sweep. Inamo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Inamo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but King Inamo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on King Inamo's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lawler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Inamo.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lawler looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Inamo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. As Inamo looks to move away, Lawler throws a big counter combo but Inamo just gets out of the way. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Inamo tries to clinch but Lawler moves out of range. Inamo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawler's waist but Lawler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inamo off to one side. Nice takedown defense from Lawler. No joy for Inamo on that attempt.
